This is an an account of all the money and time that I waste as a result of my lapses in judgment, preventable goofs, or foreseeable mistakes. This is an homage to the injuries and public humiliation that I have suffered for the many stupid things I have done.
If you met me, you might come away with the impression that I have most of the aspects of my life knitted neatly together. I write this blog to reveal the reality that I'm bumbling through life -- as I suspect most people are -- and it's a struggle each day just to hold on to all my fingers and all my toes. I think we gain some perspective when we can share a laugh together over the mistakes we make and survive. After all, it's when you can't laugh at something when you know you're in big doo-doo.
I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. In 2001, I packed up my car and drove to California for my first grown-up job. I have lived in this sunny state ever since.
